Exploring the Odyssey

Come explore the fierce and beautiful epic of the Odyssey in a gathering for male-identified folk who wish to plunge into the depths of this story. We will gather weekly for an hour online for ten weeks, first to hear the story told by performance storyteller Jay Leeming and then to explore all the salty issues of betrayal, failure and "toxic masculinity" that this story brings up.

You can expect to encounter wise goddesses, one-eyed giants and the witch who holds the keys to the underworld; to hear the music of the sirens and hearken to the wisdom of a gender-bending prophet from the Land of the Dead.

There will be no cost to attend this gathering (though donations are always welcome). This is not a therapy group, though hearing a story like this can have a therapeutic effect. It's not necessary to attend every gathering.
